An Irish Limerick

Written while travelling in Ireland, Fall 2018…

There once was two eejit’s from Mactier
Who came to Ireland for the beer
They loved the emerald green
So they rented a camping machine
We signed up for a winding slow ride
Not knowing it was all on the left side
Off we go down one lane roads
When meeting oncoming trucks you need to be bold
So narrow you can scratch your arm
No fear the mirrors already have seen much harm
Garry said we were a long long way to Tipperary
So off to ring of Kerry.
