Anthony DeSa @ the Mactier Public Library

Reminder to all that Giller nominated Canadian author Anthony DeSa will be speaking about his recently released novel Children of the Moon at the Mactier Public Library starting at 7pm on Thursday July 25th.

A representative from Parry Sound Books will be at the Library with copies of this book, and titles from Anthony’s backlist, for sale and for signing.

The 2019 Leacock Medal for Humour

I thought you might be interested to know that both Eden Robinson’s Trickster Drift, and Lindsay Wong’s memoir, The Woo Woo, have just been nominated for the 2019 Leacock Medal for Humour.

Also a few other titles – including Canadian YA – which I certainly wouldn’t have though to include on a list of ‘humour’ titles, but… what do I know…
