Our second season of the Bass Lake Book Club has come to a close.
- We’ve said good-bye to Rebecca who has moved away from Bass Lake – although she still joins us online and on conference calls – and we’ve welcomed Evie.
This year we read our way through 5 books (listed in reverse order):
- The Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy
- Nutshell by Ian McEwan
- Mitzi Bytes by Kerry Clare
- The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George
- Irmina by Barbara Yelin
We will continue to talk about books – virtually – over the winter. Perhaps we’ll have enough of us around over the Easter 2018 long weekend to slip in an additional book next year… Stay tuned. Else we’ll get together on the May long weekend.
